With our picnic packed for the day and cameras charged we headed in to the park. At the first corner we are met by a herd of Impala soon followed by Zebra, Giraffe and a lone male bull Elephant. Perfect start and the rest of the day did not dissapoint either.

and for the birders......

Roller followed by a Bee Eater....

and then a pretty Nyala.....

After our picnic overlooking the river on Sontuli Loop we were lucky enough to spot a lone cheetah what a end to a perfect day.

MonkeylandKZN A Forest Experience Like No Other

MonkeylandKZN offers guided walking tours of the forest which is home to many species of exotic primate including tufted and weeper capuchins, Bolivian and common squirrel monkeys, black howler monkeys, ringtailed and black and white ruffed lemurs and buff-cheeked gibbons. You will also experience countless other natural wonders whilst on your walking tour in the stunning indigenous forest.

It is open daily from 8am until 5pm. Tours are offered in English and isiZulu and depart from reception every 15 minutes. The last tour departs at 4pm.

Our guests are entitled to a 10% discount with the production of a voucher at reception.
